The National Board of Trade is the Swedish governmental agency dealing with foreign trade and trade policy. The Board provides the Government with analyses and recommendations.
Within the framework of the European Union, the Board works towards an effective Internal Market, an open trade policy in the EU and a strengthened multilateral trading system within the WTO. The Board also acts as ombudsman for free trade and free movement within the EU as partner of the SOLVIT network.
