Development cooperation
Free trade and an open economy is an effective way to aim for growth and enable poor people to improve their lives. However, it is important to underline the need of support for developing countries with a constrained capacity to e.g. participate in trade negotiations. Trade related development cooperation is therefore an important tool on the way to strengthening developing countries’ ability to reap the benefits of the possibilities on the international trade arena.
